Handel Schweiz is the umbrella association of the Swiss economy, representing 34 industry associations and around 3,500 affiliated companies. As part of introducing a new ERP system, the existing Sage system was to be replaced by Abacus.
CONSENSO TECH took on the data migration workstream. Data from the legacy system was transferred automatically towards Abacus, cleansed and prepared for the target structure of the new ERP system. Alongside the technical implementation, an important focus lay on conceptually optimising the data structure and improving data quality.
The migration covered not only the pure data transfer but also the structured preparation of master data grown over many years. This allowed Handel Schweiz to start in the new ERP system with an improved data foundation.
