As part of the international Odoo rollout at ORIS, individual business processes remain represented in the existing legacy system ProConcept. At the same time, international subsidiaries use Odoo for operational processes such as purchasing, warehousing and invoicing. This created the need to connect both system worlds reliably.
CONSENSO developed an interface between ProConcept and Odoo. Deliveries created or processed in ProConcept are transferred automatically to Odoo and created there as purchase orders for the respective subsidiaries. Relevant product master data is also synchronised between the systems.
Representing complex product structures was a particular challenge. Beyond simple product data, tree structures also had to be taken into account so that the data can be processed correctly in Odoo.
